3D doesn't really ... The movies weren't terrible (imo Avatar was excellent) but then when they're successful 3D undeservedly gets all the credit. There have been plenty of terrible 3D movies (Off the top of my head, take Jaws 3D for example) but 3D? isn't blamed for their failures. 3D contributes absolutely nothing towards a good movie.
