Gratuitous use of superkick, planchas, flying elbows, kip ups, moonsaults, and flying forearms were all highspots that were lifted from Shawn Michaels.? Not saying he invented them saying he is the first place where most wrestlers saw them.

I think that you are correct on the fan base and popularity that Michaels and all of those other wrestlers had but i think that each fan can have a separate influence. Mine happens to be Mick Foley for his guts, passion, and? determination...even in his aging years.

Well that match was designed to make Shawn look the better out of the two. Since he was going to win the belt and they were pushing him, they wanted to make him look better in the? ring over the veteran Bret. Michaels is a very good seller (have u seen Orton lowblow?) anyway, Shawn def influenced a generation, ex: London/Kendrick, etc.

Michaels can't sell for shit! After getting beaten down for like 20mins and having his back worked on in the ironman vs Bret he nips-up! How in the hell do you nip-up when the champ and best technical wrestler in? the WWF has just worked over your back for 20mins!

Raven describing Shawn's ability to sell and the fact that cruserweights take the highspots from Shawn but ignore the selling aspect? is classic

Moralvirus, did you ever see their match in MSG? The entire arena is literally gasping in awe as their eyes are being opened up to a brand new world of wrestling, classic? moment classic match.

For an unscripted video you did a? great job. An argument requires a point and evidence, and that kid never provided any evidence while you go on to explain things. Basic foundations of inquiry, good vid.

Put? you on ignore...? If you mean blocked - then, uhm...yeah. If that were the case, do you honestly think you'd be able to have posted this very comment I'm now responding to?

Ah true,? totally forgot about Jake the Snake as well.

Agree with what you're saying about others being more influential in respect to in ring wrestling, but Hogan's influence in the merchandising aspect of wrestling and even marketing the top star as? the face of the promotion tops all of that.
By: copcopps. on 06 Jan 08, 00:52:57
Jake The Snake Roberts also? brought in psychology.

Undertaker has some influence as well. He was a big man, that could actually move around very fluid. Sure he? didn't influence as much as HBK, but he did invent the physiological factor before facing any opponents. I think he deserves some credit too.

i agree they? are much better unscripted.

Great video Jarrod. I couldn't agree more with your points. Hogan was? influential to a certain extent, but as for ALL AROUND biggest influence he has no shot.

I remember SUMMERSLAM 05 When HBK made fun of Hogan by overselling in their match. Probably because? of backstage politics. HBk rules has hogan ever been in a ladder match or iron man match?
By: Nic1700. on 05 Jan 08, 00:31:16
I think Hogan is probably one of the most influential to WWE, but definately not to the whole of wrestling. By the way I think your videos come off better unscripted. You don't loose a lot of flow, and it seems more interesting when your talking to us not reading? a script to us.
By: RDizzle12345. on 05 Jan 08, 00:18:26
Your videos? are better uncripted.

Aren't you a jingoist? TM completely influenced the style of todays wrestling EVERYWHERE in the? world, Hoga was just a big name, that is all.
