Analogue has a natural warmth that digital can't reproduce. The Beatles scarcely used synths? but Zeppelin, Steve Miller, Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake and Palmer all made great use of analogue synths especially Floyd. I like the moogs and EMSs in particular.ARPs not so much
