This song is played on almost every episode of Supernatural (the character Dean is a huge can of classic rock) it is one of the staples of the show. I love that they play it, growing up my dad played classic rock in the house all the time, and I love that Supernatural is getting more people into music that I have? grown up with even though I wasn't alive when it came out originally.
