Watching Jack Hanna's many appearances on David Letterman over the years, I've always wanted to visit the Columbus Zoo. I was lucky enough to stop by on the night that Jack was doing a live broadcast of his annual holiday special, "Into the Wildlights". You can watch the episode in full at the link below:

They were doing the Christmas taping of "Into the Wildlights" the night I was there, so I sat and watched that...then enjoyed the light display...it was really cool! January 15th will be the next time he's on Dave Letterman. It's on his show where I've really become a huge fan of? his over the years. Jungle Jack is such a funny & quirky guy, I can't help but get a kick out of him every time he's on with Dave!

This is one of my favorite little towns along I-95 in New England. Tourists flock here every year to see this seaport village's natural beauty in addition to stopping at the famous "Mystic Pizza" restaurant, made famous by the motion picture starring Julia Roberts.

I decided to spend the night in Pittsburgh on my way out east and I was quite pleasantly surprised by the amazing architecture as well as the city's overall beauty.

I get to travel to many cities all year round & there's good & bad all over, but spending a day in Pittsburgh, I realized this city is truly a perfect representation of all that's good in our country. It's culturally diverse, safe, clean & absolutely gorgeous...especially the view from Mt.? Washington! As far as the laughing at the end LOL!..the gentleman had an...umm... "embarrassing mishap" before the ride back down & no one on the cable car could stop laughing! LOL!

Back when all of the steel mills were operating, It was kind of a dirty atmosphere! I love the tunnel & then the river bridge being there with the city in full view! I can remember the time when I 1st ran through there. It was all trees , hills etc. Drove through the tunnel & then WHAM!!!! The whole city? before me! LOL! Good Job!!!!!!!

The Cut River Bridge is located along US Highway 2 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan & overlooks Lake Michigan.
Construction of the bridge began in 1941, but was haulted due to the high demand of steel during World War II. The bridge was finally completed in 1947.

From the foot of the steps on one side of the bridge, you can also walk over to a nice sandy beach. It really is a hidden gem and I'm really happy I stopped :)
