Another of Melba Moore's timeless classics. This time from her 1982 record "The Other Side of the Rainbow" which seems to be a bit less known a whole but has a couple of songs better known than her 1983 songs. This one is definitely a Kashif production. Tune in and enjoy fam!

One of Melba Moore's timeless classics from her 1983 record "Never Say Never". I'm not sure if it's another Kashif production but it certainly has a sound one could imagine him being a part of producing. Few modern songs will ever top mellifluous jams like this.

This is one of Howard Johnson's hits from his 1982 album. This is a Kashif production so you can hear the obvious influence in it. IMO this is one of the best R&B hits of the early 80s and definitely that year.

He does sound a lot like Kashif though, doesn't he? I think he was intentionally trying to sound similar to him because Kashif created the beat for and? produced this song for Howard Johnson. I've heard that Kashif is one of the people in the background vocals but that's Johnson doing the main vocals. Love this song!
